Christmas cake competition • In October, we asked young readers from across the country to send us their designs for a magical Christmas cake. Entrants were asked to imagine a cake with icing and decorations following the theme of sparkly stars. We had an overwhelming response, with over 500 entries received. Our judges were astonished by the level of skill and imagination from children of all ages.
